PaperCut’s website is the crown jewel of our digital assets, and we want visitors to have as much fun navigating it as we do building it! Are you a UX Designer that can implement good practices around user research? Can you collaborate across our entire business (even with our co-founder) to make user experience a core component of our digital strategy? If so, we need you!
You will be a member of PaperCut’s Design practice deployed to our website team, but you’ll also play a role in generally uplifting our capability in good UX design practices. This team are consultative, diverse and aren’t scared of wireframing the odd illustration if they have to (before shortly asking our digital designers for help).

Some of the things you’ll do…
You will work with just about every team across PaperCut, to understand who makes changes to our website and builds landing pages, and their process of making these changes.
You will introduce repeatable UX practices for our teams to make ad-hoc website changes and lead teams through them.
You will take time to understand our overarching digital strategy and initiate some of your own projects that align to this.
You will share your knowledge, and added perspective to uplift others in our Design practice.
What success looks like 6 months in…
You have delivered an initial set of recommendations, and noticed more impactful areas for improvement that have formed into your strategy.
You have run a set of UX experiments and research activities which are starting to net positive results by the end of the sixth month.
You’re comfortable promoting outcomes of UX across PaperCut and are happy to work with technical teams and the wider business.
