GLiNTECH is growing! We are looking for skilled, adaptable team members to join our amazing Managed Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for Support Engineers to join a dedicated and highly regarded team together with a significant opportunity to be a key contributor in supporting the client group in the delivery of outcomes. As part of a supportive team you will provide support and configuration services for Atlassian products including implementation, testing and documentation. The right person should have a passion for technology and take pride in solving technical problems.

About the role:

Reporting to the Managed Services Manager, you will:

Provide ticket-based, email and phone support to our partners, clients and staff around the Atlassian tools and supporting infrastructure.
Handle Level 1, 2 and 3 tickets including queries, incidents, problems and planned changes.
Become an expert in all the Atlassian tools and common marketplace apps.
Contribute to the GLiNTECH knowledge base.

About you:

You have working experience with troubleshooting hardware, software and network connections
You have working experience with Windows desktop configuration
You have experience with Linux, including BASH commands and you are comfortable working from the command line.
You have an understanding of computer components with some hands on experience (e.g. assembled your own PC)
You have some networking knowledge, including OSI model, IP, DNS, SSH, SSL, firewalls and AV software
You have experience with SQL databases
You have knowledge of different storage systems, including RAID
You have had exposure to OO programming and scripting languages

Qualifications and Skills required:

Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
Great attention to detail
Ability to think systematically/structurally/logically
You are able to communicate effectively, both verbally and written
Ability to think quickly and deliver autonomously
You are customer focused and outcome oriented
You are organised and able to prioritise tasks accordingly
You have the right to work full-time in Australia.
You enjoy learning new concepts and process improvements

Desired Experience:

Any exposure to Atlassian applications will be highly regarded (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket etc)
Familiarity with cloud platforms/services – AWS preferable
