As a Full Stack Software Developer reporting into the CIO, you will be working in a small team developing code to be used throughout the business. The work will be varied, taking research projects and developing them further to be used by our staff as well as customers. As well as expanding and improving existing solutions. There will be a need to work with the business stakeholders.
Translate requirements and user cases into functional applications.
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
Using and promoting the creation and maintenance of Company coding and design standards.
Performing technical tasks, including unit test functions, as required, to support the internal quality and control arrangements as defined by Company policy and project requirements.
Develop applications implementing security best practices around data and design.
Support to maintain code quality, organisation, and automation.
Keep up with current best practices and be willing to learn.
Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
Prepare and produce releases of software components.
Actively collaborate across CyberCX, and continuously look for ways to add value. Facilitate communication, partnerships and cross-pollination across the business to allow teams to better engage and service customers.
Preferred Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
At least 1 year in Software development.
Proven hands-on Software Development experience.
Hands on experience in designing and developing applications.
Knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, NoSQL databases, Graph or Elastic.
Experience in developing web applications. should be comfortable with web frameworks.
Experience with Web Services either REST or SOAP architectures.
Understanding of code versioning tools and their use.
Understanding of DevOps.
Good Written and oral communications.
Knowledge of AWS or Azure native services.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to build sustainable, scalable solutions and translate information into creative solutions to benefit the business.
Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Skilled in responding to setbacks in an agile and resilient manner.
Keen attention to detail in all tasks.
