Key Duties and Responsibilities
Facilitate effective ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning and reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
Agile mindset and understanding of agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban
To remove impediments and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow and improvement whilst advocating an agile framework
Dealing with ambiguity – pull apart complex, incompletely defined problems and solve them
Writing requirements that drive quality – Delighting Engineers
Delivery and Planning
Understanding business needs, effective communication with technical teams, followed by facilitation of the prioritization, scheduling and delivery of features
Partner with engineering teams through all phases of development to deliver on-time, high-quality software
Empowering, leading and coaching a geographically dispersed development team to be successful, self-organised and adaptive
Ensuring a clear plan and delivery in line with project and product requirements
Work with Product Managers and other business stakeholders to manage dependencies
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience in leading digital projects and strategies
Familiarity and exposure to multiple agile frameworks
Extensive delivery leadership experience, comfortable working across multiple squads
Experience in balancing conflicting requirements, making sensible tradeoffs, and taking a commercially sensible approach
Excellent people leadership skills
Demonstrated delivery of initiatives in a timely manner and ability to navigate through ambiguous situations and opportunities
